Abstract:
Mechanical alloying was performed in the Fe - Cu alloy system. Supersaturated bcc solid solution up to 30 at.% Cu and fcc solid solution over 40 at.% Cu were obtained. The super-saturated solubility was larger than that produced by liquid quenching or vapor quenching techniques.
